Topic Guide

As this is a personal blog, I can delve into many topics, even those in which I'm not an expert! Well, I'll try to be careful there... Anyway! Here is a brief key to the topics:

Acting - Though I haven't written many for this category, I plan to do so soon. Covered will be aspects of performance, as with the music category, and also of acting as it pertains to the stage, television and the movies.

Album - Now I have an Imgur account, so I can share all sorts of fun pictures and groups of pictures!

Business - I am no business man, but even I can see trends and comment on changes within various industries. Fortunately for you, these will not focus on the nitty-gritty, professional lingo-filled side of matters.

Art - While there is an element of art present in literature and music, articles in this category are looking more to the visual arts: painting, drawing, etc...

Culture - This is a rather nebulous category. I try to examine an aspect of society as it affects society itself. For example, I might look at the affect of fandoms on the fans and on the source material.

Gaming - Fairly important to me, as I have been gaming for a few years now. As opposed to the backwards-looking of Retrogaming, I focus on more contemporary topics in gaming here, at least, topics with which I am familiar.

Language - Well, I majored in English in college, so I know a little bit about it. I'll try to stray away from this topic, though, because it might be boring to most other readers.

Life - The most nebulous category on this blog. It's a personal look at some topic that's inspired/annoyed/brought itself to light to me.

Literature - It is difficult to write for this category sometimes. I don't want to merely examine and analyze literature, or else it becomes too much like a school paper. I try, rather, to examine it in light of other things, such as the internet, wikis, personal experience, etc...

Music - I was once a music major, so I've learned a small bit about music. This is a broad category, so I explore things like aspects of performance and interpretations of short pieces.

Retrogaming - One of my favorite categories to write for, as I am an ardent retrogamer. No, I haven't played as many of the classics as I should. I'm working on that. Anyway! This category works almost like a history category at times, at other times like a personal experience category.

Script - As a creative writer, and an actor, I occasionally dip my hand into creative writing.

YouTube - I finally did something with my channel, so now I can cross-post my misc. and sundry videos here as well!
